HELP Jamaica! supports the Trenchtown Reading Centre with a donation of 1.500,- €
// March 3rd, 2010 //
As you all know HELP Jamaica! is supporting the Trenchtown Reading Centre (TRC) since the early days of our organisation. The TRC was the impulse to found HELP Jamaica! in the first place. You can read on our website, the TRC is something like a role model for our own Education Center.
Click here for more information about the TRC…
Roslyn Ellison and her organisation ‘Friends of the Trenchtown Reading Centre’ (FTRC) who are the moving spirit behind the TRC received a donation of 1.500,- EUR from HELP Jamaica! to help to cover the operating costs for 2010.
Our donation will cover the complete costs for the TRC’s 2010 Literacy and Drama/Spoken Word programs as well as a part of the costs for the weekly Art program on Saturdays!
With the support of HELP Jamaica! the TRC was able to expand the offered programs over the last years – big up to Roslyn Ellison and the staff of the TRC for doing such a great job in Trenchtown since 1993!
Thank You Letter from R. Ellison:
