In celebration of our 6th anniversary (of starting the work localy in Jamaica), visiting friends and donors from far and near were the highlight of our special day’s function and an occasion at the HELP Jamaica! Education Center, 5 Cassava Piece Road, Kingston 8.
The German Ambassador to Jamaica was our main guest and upon his second visit, since taking up his duties in Jamaica; extended special courtesies on behalf of the German government by presenting a cheque for a grant funded project to management of the center for the refurbishing and upgrading of the Education center’s facility at Cassava Piece. Recording artist Exile Di Brave was also in attendance with his management team and also donated funds to assist with the project.
It was like an “Open Day” with attendees, some for the first time, roaming through the classrooms to view updates showcasing activities of the project incorporating past and present activities.
